Collection of user data

Data stored in the WWW server log of an individual user of the online service of Kuopio region Public Transport Vilkku consist of the user’s IP address, time of loading the page and the object of search. I connection with some of the searches, also other information may be recorded (for example route searches). The user cannot be identified merely with help of cookies or other techniques, and our website does not have access to data such as user email address. Kuopio region Public Transport does not disclose any collected user information to third parties.

Using cookies

vilkku.kuopio.fi website uses so called cookies. A cookie is a small text file sent to and stored on the user’s computer to allow the website operator to recognize regular visitors to the website, to help users navigate the website and to facilitate compiling statistics of users.  This feedback helps us continuously improve the content of our website. Cookies do not cause any harm to user computer or data files. We use them to be able to respond to our users as individuals and to tailor information and services to the user needs.

Using location tracking
