Ticket pricing is based on zones. The ticket price is determined by whether you are traveling in one or more zones. For example, when traveling from Zone A to Zone C, you need a three-zone ticket.
You can make free exchanges within Zone A and B within one hour of the first trip. For other zones and inter-zones, the switching time is 90 minutes.

Adults, youth's and childrens season tickets are also available for 3, 6 and 12 months validity.
Passengers entitled to free transport
Children under the age of 7 travel on Vilkku buses free of charge.
Passengers entitled to free transport on city routes 1–40:
- A person travelling with a child in a pram or pushchair. If the baby is in a carrier or a sling, the adult needs a ticket.
- A war veteran
- A person in a wheelchair and an accompanying person.
- A person with a walker and an accompanying person at 9 am – 2 pm. At other times they pay the normal fare.
- A person accompanying a person with disability upon presentation of visual impairment card, transport service card or EU disability card. The person with disability pays a normal fare.
